Gender balance to the fore as Balfour & Manson appoint four new partners under Fred Tyler
Personal injury specialist Fred Tyler has succeeded Andrew Gibb as chairman of Balfour & Manson.
At the same time the Edinburgh and Aberdeen based legal firm has appointed four new partners in a round of internal promotions.
The four are Lisa Gregory, head of the Aberdeen office and a pursuer, personal injury and medical negligence specialist; Angela Alexander, an Edinburgh-based accredited family law specialist; Fiona Muirs, a personal injury and judicial review lawyer, and John Leyden, who practises in residential property, both also in the Edinburgh office.
Fred Tyler commented: “We are delighted to make these appointments, reflecting three of our key growth specialist areas, litigation, family law and residential property. We are particularly proud to note that our partnership, which has expanded rapidly in the last 12 months, now has equal female and male partners, in contrast with figures recently highlighted by the Law Society.”
