Glasgow-based research project for security tagging scheme

A research and development programme aimed at the pread of counterfeit goods has been launched by Scottish Enterprise's ITI project.

Glasgow-based ITI Techmedia plans to develop machine-readable security tags for the detection of bogus brands.

Robert Gordon University will be involved in the research, which the ITI believe has huge market potential.
