Grampian race conference attracts big names

120 delegates from across the country attend conference on race relations issues
Representatives from the criminal justice system, teachers and police are to attend a conference to discuss race relations issues facing Scotland in Dundee today.
The event, organised by Grampian Racial Equality Council, will focus on preventing and responding to racist incidents.
Keynote speakers include Elish Angiolini QC, Solicitor General for Scotland, and Les Davey, Director of Real Justice UK and Ireland.
Mrs Angiolini will underline Scotland's prosecutors' commitment to a vigorous anti-racist stance and to the prosecution of racist crime.
