Shepherd+ Wedderburn promotes four in three divisions
Shepherd+ Wedderburn has strengthened its position across several key sectors with the appointment of four new partners.
Stephen Trombala, Iain Drummond, David Holmes and Edwin Mustard have all contributed to the continued growth of the firm in recent years.
Chief executive Patrick Andrews said: “Shepherd+ Wedderburn has a proud history of nurturing, challenging and rewarding individuals who demonstrate their commitment to the firm and these four promotions are a continuation of this policy."
He added that the four "thoroughly deserve this recognition".
Stephen Trombala, who won the highly prized UK "Assistant of the Year" award in the Legal Week Awards 2004, has been appointed partner in the corporate finance team and will be working predominantly from the firm's expanding London office.
Solicitor advocate Iain Drummond, who specialises in disputes arising in construction, engineering and PPP projects, has been promoted within the litigation division. His major clients include Sir Robert McAlpine Limited, Byzak Limited and SLC Turnberry.
New litigation partner David Holmes specialises in medico-legal and professional disciplinary work. He has been involved in many high profile cases and inquiries on behalf of the Medical and Dental Defence Union of Scotland and the Medical Protection Society, and is the lead solicitor in Scotland to the Health and Safety Executive.
Edwin Mustard has been promoted to partner within the Pensions, Tax and Trusts division. He has extensive experience in pensions law and has been advising a range of employers, pension scheme trustees and insurance companies for a number of years.
