Maclay Murray & Spens scoops national award for website
Maclay Murray & Spens has come top of the UK’s 50 fastest-growing largest law firms for the design of its website in an independent review by internet consultants, Intendance.
The London and Paris-based company, which specialises in consultancy, development and management of websites, selected Scotland’s largest solicitors' firm after scrutiny of UK legal firm websites.
Maclays’ website scored an overall 96 per cent for design, after being highly rated for fundamentals such as clarity of text, colour and use of images.
David Sanders, director of marketing with Maclay Murray & Spens, said: “We set out to create a website which was different from that of other legal firms, yet useful and informative for our clients. Our aim was to give visitors a real feel for what the firm is about and, consequently, we used people from every area of the organisation as the models for the site photography.
"At all levels, everyone contributes to providing excellent client care and we wanted to reflect the importance of that team-work through our design and branding. The website is part of a wider promotional campaign based on this philosophy and that makes this accolade all the more welcome."
