Fee income up another 10% as seven new associates appointed

Corporate law firm McClure Naismith has reported a 10% turnover rise in 2004 to more than £12m.

The rise comes as the firm continues to expand with the appointment of seven new associates and plans to move to larger premises in London, where it employs 25 people. The Edinburgh office relocates to new purpose-built premises later this year.

Senior partner Dr Kenneth Chrystie said that the firm was feeling "more bullish about the future than we have been for years".

Dr Chrystie added that the firm has filed for conversion to a limited liability partnership but that the move is still under consideration.
