Bishops Solicitors LLP has further strengthened its team with the appointment of three new solicitors.
Kirsty Cooper has joined the commercial property team with in the Property Unit, and will build on her interest in the environmental law field by working with Professor Kenneth Ross. Ms Cooper joins Bishops from the commercial property retail team at Brodies.
Manus Quigg has joined the construction team within the Dispute Resolution Unit. Mr Quigg qualified as an English solicitor in 2001 before moving to Scotland in 2002, and qualified as a Scottish solicitor in 2003. He joins Bishops from Anderson Strathern.
James Barrowman joins the firm’s personal injury team within the Dispute Resolution Unit. He previously worked for Legal Services Agency and as well as an interest in personal injury litigation, he also specialises in landlord and tenant and housing law. He is currently completing a textbook on residential evictions.
Managing Partner, Alasdair Fleming said that the new appointments were a very welcome addition to the team at Bishops: “We’re delighted that Kirsty, Manus and James have joined the firm. Bishops already has a strong reputation in the commercial property and litigation fields, and I think that’s reflected in the quality of staff we’re attracting to the firm.”
