Maclay Murray & Spens reports a 20% rise in profits
Maclay Murray & Spens has reported a 14% rise in turnover in the year to May 31, while profits available to partners were up 20% in 2004 to £13m.
This is equivalent to a sum of £180,000 per partner for the firm, which employs 577 people and is one of Scotland's "big four" legal practices.
The positive news comes after an eventful year for the company which merged with London-based legal boutique City Law Partnership last November.
It also recently recruited a property team, led by former Payne Hicks Beach partner David Fitzgerald in London.
