Michael Murphy appointed to succeed John Macmillan

Michael Murphy has been appointed Managing Partner at commercial law firm MacRoberts.

Mr Murphy, who has led MacRoberts' projects group since 1994, takes over in September from John Macmillan who will return to his former role as a partner in the firm's employment law group.

Mr Murphy said: "It is my aim to continue to develop MacRoberts as a leading player on the Scottish commerical law scene, with particular focus on extending our reputation in specialist markets, such as corporate employment, construction and PPP/PFI, to all areas of commercial law."
