Tods Murray rewards Edinburgh University second year high achievers
Two Edinburgh law students will receive scholarship funding from a leading law firm following their exam success in their second year at the school of law.
The Tods Murray scholarship programme at Edinburgh University rewards the students who achieve the highest grades in commercial law and property law. This year Adam McKinlay and Lynsey Hutchison each receive a cash prize of £1,000 together with an offer of a six to 12-week paid summer placement and an interview for traineeship.
The aim behind the scholarship is to strengthen links between the law firm and Edinburgh University and to nurture home-grown talent.
Tods Murray executive partner Peter Misselbrook said the programme had been very worthwhile for all concerned.
