Les Brown is new District Procurator Fiscal
Les Brown has been appointed as the new District Procurator Fiscal for Kilmarnock.
The previous district fiscal for Kilmarnock, Kenny Donnelly, left to take up the post of District Procurator Fiscal for Falkirk last month.
A graduate of Strathclyde University, Mr Brown (42) has worked with the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service for 20 years. He has worked in the Hamilton and Glasgow fiscal offices, and in a post at Crown Office before his most recent spell in the High Court Unit. He will work closely with Ayrshire area procurator fiscal John Dunn, who has full management and budgetary responsibility for the Ayrshire area.
