Litigation team's Fiona Moore takes over role

Drummond Miller has appointed Fiona Moore as first female chair of the firm.

Fiona joined Drummond & Co in 1983 as a trainee and was appointed partner in 1988. She has significant experience of all types of civil and criminal litigation in the sheriff court, Court of Session and High Court of Justiciary, particularly in personal injury litigation. She heads up Drummond Miller’s litigation team and is also responsible for managing relationships with Drummond Miller’s 140-plus correspondent firms.

Drummond Miller's 17 partners and 150 staff operate from six locations in central belt towns apart from the main office in Edinburgh.

Managing partner Angus MacPherson said: "I am delighted that Fiona has been appointed as chair of Drummond Miller and I and all of her colleagues look forward to working with her as we continue to build the reputation of our firm."

The firm has also promoted two court assistants to associate - Lyndsey McCran in the Dunfermline office and Ruth Hinsley in Livingston, who will shortly move to Bathgate.
