Firm takes majority shareholding in financial services company
Legal firm Maclay Murray & Spens (MMS) has acquired a majority shareholding in London-based financial services compliance company Leale-Green Ltd.
The deal, which will see Leale-Green change its name to Regulatory Solutions Ltd and use MMS Regulatory Solutions as its brand, is aimed at enhancing the service offered by MMS. It will give Leale-Green’s clients a one-stop compliance and legal service and provide MMS with access to an extensive and complementary client base in the financial services sector.
Alan Leale-Green, founder of Leale-Green, has been appointed as chief executive officer of Regulatory Solutions Ltd and will continue to play a major role in the growth and development of the company.
MMS chief executive, Magnus Swanson, said: “We see this move as a significant step in the development of our capability and presence in financial services in the City and throughout the UK."
