Anderson Strathern has appointed corporate real estate and finance expert Robert Maclean as a partner.
Mr Maclean comes to the firm from the property and hotels group Stannifer, where he was in-house counsel. He is dual qualified and brings extensive knowledge and experience of corporate real estate transactions.
Anderson Strathern's corporate practice has completed more than 100 deals, worth a combined deal value of £800 million over the past 18 months.
Simon Brown, partner and head of corporate, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Robert to the team with the news that Anderson Strathern’s corporate practice is busier than ever.
“Robert's previous roles have provided him with almost unique industry experience and enabled him to build a reputation at the highest levels of the finance and property sectors, UK-wide and beyond.
“He has a superb network of contacts and had a wide variety of options open to him, so we are delighted that he chose Anderson Strathern. We see this as a real coup, given that Robert has been involved with virtually all the leading UK law firms."
