Murray Donald Drummond Cook report doubled sales in May and 12.2% year-to-date rise
The Fife law firm Murray Donald Drummond Cook has announced a significant rise in property sales this year.
The firm sold more than £7.25 million worth of property May alone, more than double its average for the month. The boom takes the total for the year so far to almost £20 million - a 12.2% increase in sales compared with the same period last year.
The May figure represents 40 property sales in the St Andrews, Cupar and East Neuk areas, and the firm expects the trend to continue.
