Big names to advise on housing and games bid
DLA Piper and MacRoberts win Glasgow contracts
DLA Piper and MacRoberts will be providing legal advice respectively for Glasgow's bid for the 2014 Commonwealth Games and its social housing provider.
Commonwealth Games bid director Derek Casey said he was delighted to have DLA Piper on board, as the firm has extensive experience in the areas of broadcasting rights, sponsorship and merchandising.
MacRoberts has been reappointed for a further three years as all-services advisers to the UK's largest social housing provider, Glasgow Housing Association. The firm was originally appointed in October 2004 and the contract was put out to tender last year.
