Ten promotions for Morton Fraser

Four new senior associates, three associates and three senior solicitors named


Morton Fraser has announced 10 internal promotions - four to senior associate level, three to associate and three to senior solicitor.

In the firm's award-winning residential property practice, Dorothy Smith and Debbie McCathie have been promoted to senior associates, as have Glasgow-based Fiona Sasan of the family law team and Frances Sim in corporate.

The new associates are Mike Wells (litigation), Yvonne Slaven (commercial property) and Beverley Wood (corporate). Also in litigation, Ashley Scott and William Cole become senior solicitors, as does David Millar in corporate.

Announcing the apppointments, chief executive Linda Urquhart said: "These promotions demonstrate our commitment to serving our clients and ensuring we have the best legal talent in place to enable us to do this. ”
