Four partners among Biggart Baillie promotions

Eight internal advancements at Glasgow/Edinburgh firm
The law firm Biggart Baillie has promoted eight of its staff - four to partner level, three to associate and a new position of head of professional support.
Michael McLaughlin joins Paul Brown and Alan Strain as the third partner in the firm's expanding employment group, while Pamela Niven becomes a partner in the private client department.
The other two new partners are in commercial property. Neil Darling has extensive experience and expertise in relation to English property work and will spearhead the continued development of this aspect of the practice. Geoff Stansfield has developed a busy and successful practice in a number of areas, particularly property finance and investment work.
Catherine Reilly has been appointed as head of professional support, to focus on enhancing the firm's professional support services.
In the property department, Carly Mason, Chris McLeish and Chris Noble have all been promoted to associate.
