Construction partner for Dundas & Wilson
Barrister joins construction and engineering practice at the London office
Dundas & Wilson has announced the appointment of Hamish Lal as a partner in its construction and engineering practice.
The former barrister specialises in construction, engineering and project finance law, and will be based in D&W's London office, where there are now 33 lawyers in the construction and engineering team.
Mr Lal has both a contentious and non-contentious practice and will focus on D&W's clients in the energy and utilities sector, particularly nuclear projects. He will also participate in D&W's continued growth in the sector generally, from London.
D&W managing partner Donald Shaw said: "Energy and utilities is a core industry for us and Hamish will help grow our involvement in this area from a construction and engineering base.
"Hamish's background and experience really complement our deep skills in construction and engineering at an important time for the industry and for us."
