Firm wins tender for new three year contract covering Scottish interests
Anderson Strathern has retained its contract to be the sole provider of Scottish legal advice to The Crown Estate, following a tender exercise.
The contract is for three years and takes effect from February 2007.
The Scottish portfolio includes the seabed around the Scottish coastline and much of the foreshore, rural estates throughout Scotland, including Glenlivet in Moray and Applegirth in Dumfries, and commercial properties in Edinburgh, such as Princes Exchange, home of HBoS.
Vivienne King, Head of Legal at The Crown Estate, said that Anderson Strathern had "a unique understanding of our business in Scotland and demonstrated a commitment in their tender to working with us to place themselves firmly alongside the culture and values of The Crown Estate".
