David Laurie has been appointed as a associate with the law firm Shepherd+ Wedderburn.
Mr Laurie previously worked for the Office of Gas and Electricity Markets. He takes up his new role in March and will be based at the firm's Glasgow office, advising clients about competition and regulatory issues in the gas, electricity and water sectors in the UK and Northern Ireland.
Shepherd+ Wedderburn has also recruited a senior solicitor to its London office. Sebastian McMichael completed his traineeship with the firm four years ago. He will provide utility sector clients with competition and regulatory advice.
