Raft of promotions for DLA Piper
New partners, legal directors and associates for firm
DLA Piper's Scottish team has two new partners - Sharon Fitzgerald and Neil Burgess.
Ms Fitzgerald works in the finance and projects team and Mr Burgess is part of the corporate practice.
The firm has also created a new position of legal director (between partner and associate). Those appointed to this role are Brian Campbell (employment, pensions and benefits), Jim Martin (finance and projects), Barbara Dow, Maggie Pope and Lisa Kerr (real estate) and Colin Clelland (engineering, construction and procurement).
In addition, six people have been promoted to associate within the firm - Lynne Calder (litigation and arbitration), Alan Cassels (finance and projects), Laurie Traynor (insurance), Stewart Raeside (technology, media and communications), and Steven Hutton and Fiona McKinnon (real estate).
