Announcement heralds major change for solicitor-estate agents Lints
The Edinburgh solicitor-estate agent firm the Lints Partnership is celebrating its 15th anniversary with the appointment of two new partners.
The announcement heralds the first major change to the firm’s management structure since its opening under founder John Lints in 1992.
The new partners are John Cavanagh and Phil Harris. Mr Cavanagh has worked with the firm for eight years, while Mr Harris has been with Lints for just over a year and was previously a partner at Aitken Nairn.
The Lints Partnership, which has its head office in Leith Walk, handled nearly 700 property sales in 2006 – a 25% increase on 2005, with a total value up 40% to over £105 million.
The increase in partner numbers is aimed at increasing the firm’s share of the property market.
John Lints said: “The appointment of John and Phil is a major move forward for the firm. For the past 15 years, the business has grown and operated with my wife Violet and I at the helm.
"But with the business continuing to expand at pace, this is the right time to appoint two new partners who will allow us to maintain a sharp focus on the delivery of excellent client service."
