Career moves round-up

New partners and associates at four firms


Fyfe Ireland, Murray Donald Drummond Cook, Maclay Murray & Spens and Brodies have all announced new appointments this week.

Fyfe Ireland has hired Fiona Hutchison as a partner. She joins the firm's private client team from Archibald Campbell & Harley WS.

At Murray Donald Drummond Cook, Alistair Lang, a specialist in company law, has been appointed as the firm's 11th partner.

Brodies has appointed five new partners - Stephen Goldie, Tony Hadden, Douglas Mathie, Odell Milne and Kevin McGlone.

Finally, at Maclay Murray & Spens, the firm's head of its oil and gas team Uisdean Vass is now a partner while nine solicitors have ben promoted to associate level - Juliet Bayne (pensions), Simon Cosgrove (IP and technology), Susie Cowan (private client), Malcolm Gunnyeon (commercial litigation), Stephen Hart (corporate), Virginia McGregor (planning and environment), Euan Palmer (commercial litigation), Heather Smith (corporate) and Loran Tutty (tax).
