Total number of UK partners for firm now exceeds 80
Dundas & Wilson has announced the promotion of four of its Scotland-based people from senior associates to partners. Two London-based solicitors also step up to partner.
Three of those promoted are based in Glasgow - Carina Healey, an intellectual property specialist who heads the life sciences team; insolvency lawyer Claire Massie whose new role will be to target expansion areas for D&W's corporate recovery team across the UK; and Darina Kerr of the real estate team.
In Edinburgh, Trudi Cragg, a multi-disciplinary planning specialist, has also been made up to partner. D&W's new partner total is now more than 80 and also includes two promotions for the London office - Nadim Meer, whose speciality is private equity and merger and acquisition work, and corporate banking specialist Ross Caldwell.
Michael McAuley, chairman of D&W, said: “These six internal promotions highlight the calibre of the people we have within D&W across the UK. They demonstrate the firm's commitment, and these individuals' commitment and contribution, to growing our business across the UK in a focused and consistent way."
Dundas & Wilson now has 83 partners in the UK. The new appointments are effective from 1 May.
