Two new partners lead slate of hires to full service firm
Anderson Strathern has appointed two partners to its property practice in the areas of commercial real estate and land resources.
Property finance, investment and developer specialist Gavin Thain joins the firm from Dundas & Wilson, while John Hendry, a highly regarded rural lawyer, joins from Brodies. The two take the number of property partners at Anderson Strathern up to 17.
Also joining the firm at this time are a new head of marketing and business development, Alex Hardie, formerly with the Noble Group; senior solicitor and IP/IT specialist Sean Keaveney; and chartered accountant Hazel Scobbie.
Anderson Strathern chairman, Robert Carr, said: “John and Gavin’s appointments are excellent hires for the firm and consolidate our position as one of the leading property teams in Scotland.
“We are committed to be the 'best full service law firm in Scotland' and are currently recruiting across all areas of our practice strengths in both Edinburgh and Glasgow.”
