Two Scots lawyers honoured

David Stewart and Hilary Patrick receive awards in Queen's Birthday Honours List
David Logan Stewart, WS, a consultant to Morton Fraser, Edinburgh and formerly solicitor to the Queen in Scotland, was made a Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (CVO) in the Birthday Honours List. Appointments to the Order are in the personal gift of the Sovereign.
Also honoured was Hilary Patrick, solicitor and author, by way of an MBE for services to mental health law in Scotland.
