Michael Ramsay, Douglas Milne and Barbara Watson join Edinburgh and Glasgow offices
Morton Fraser has strengthened its Edinburgh and Glasgow teams with the arrival of a new partner and two other senior appointments.
Michael Ramsay becomes a partner in the firm’s commercial property team, specialising in property development and investment work.
Mr Ramsay joins from DLA Piper in Edinburgh with a strong track record of advising corporate and commercial clients such as banks and other financial institutions, developers and retailers.
Morton Fraser chairman Bruce Wood said: “I’m delighted to welcome Michael to Morton Fraser as he brings a great deal of experience and skills which complement our existing areas of expertise and further strengthen our offering to clients.”
The firm's two other senior appointments are Douglas Milne, who joins the planning and environmental law team and Barbara Watson, a senior associate in the Glasgow private client team.
Mr Milne specialises in the resolution of contentious property issues, with a focus on planning disputes and has worked in both the public and private sectors. Ms Watson joins Morton Fraser from Hennessy Bowie and Co and will concentrate on building the Glasgow private client business.
