Thomas Morrison joins banking and asset finance unit from Dundas & Wilson

McClure Naismith has appointed a retail banking specialist, Thomas Morrison, as a new associate in the firm’s banking and asset finance unit.

Mr Morrison, who will be based in the Edinburgh office, has extensive experience in the retail and SME business banking sector. He joins McClure Naismith from Dundas & Wilson. His role at McClure Naismith will be to advise banking and asset finance clients on the increasingly complex legal issues affecting the regulation of the finance sector.

John Blackwood, head of the four-partner banking and asset finance unit, said: “Thomas is highly regarded by his clients and throughout the profession. He has extensive knowledge and experience of current and emerging legal issues affecting the financial sector and will be a major asset to our clients and to our plans for further growth, not only in banking but across the business as a whole”.
