Turcan Connell award for private client work

Firm wins STEP award for multi-disciplinary approach to advice

Scottish private client solicitors Turcan Connell have won a UK award in recognition of their private client work.

Political commentator Andrew Marr presented the trophy for the UK and Ireland regional team of the year to Simon Mackintosh and Alison Paul from the firm at the STEP Excellence Awards at The Brewery in London.

The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) awards highlight excellence among private client advisers in a range of professions, including solicitors, attorneys, accountants, barristers, bankers and trust managers.

The judges praised Turcan Connell's development of a multi-disciplinary approach to delivering advice.

Douglas Connell, joint senior partner, said: “We are delighted to receive this award, especially as it recognises our achievement against that of some of the UK’s most distinguished firms. It is particularly pleasing to receive this recognition in the year of our 10th anniversary.”
