Commercial property catch for Lindsays

Two partners join from Glasgow firm Macdonald Henderson

Lindsays has appointed Gail Pollock and Linda Barr as partners in its commercial property group.

They will be based at Lindsays’ Glasgow office and join from Glasgow firm Macdonald Henderson, along with a paralegal, Carolyn Galbraith, where they specialised in commercial property work.

As a result, Lindsays’ commercial property group - which includes commercial property, construction and rural/agricultural property teams - will have 13 partners and directors, supported by a specialist legal staff of 27.

Gail Pollock’s experience includes acquisitions, sales, leasing and security work, involving a variety of commercial premises from nursing homes and petrol stations to office and industrial units.

Linda Barr has extensive knowledge of the healthcare sector, secured lending, acquisitions and the sale of licensed premises. She also acts for residential and commercial developers, taking transactions from site acquisition through development to eventual sale.

David Reith, chairman of Lindsays’ management board, said: "We are delighted to welcome this new team. In addition to their technical expertise and great range of commercial experience, they bring a real energy and enthusiasm for driving forward the goals of their clients."
