Two join McGrigors from DLA Piper

Ian McCarlie and Shannon Rousson join firm's energy team
McGrigors has appointed renewable energy expert Ian McCarlie as a partner in its Edinburgh office.
Mr McCarlie joins the energy team from DLA Piper, along with finance and projects specialist Shannon Rousson, also from DLA Piper, who is appointed as a senior solicitor.
McGrigors now has 40 energy lawyers, including six partners.
Bob Ruddiman, head of McGrigors energy team, said Mr McCarlie's expertise was vital for its expanding energy practice, while Ms Rousson brought a wealth of valuable experience in the UK, Scottish, Canadian and American power industries.
In its London office McGrigors has also appointed Kevin Jordan as partner in the banking and finance team, joining from Berwin Leighton Paisner, where he has been heavily involved in PFI.
