Parliament offers Brussels briefings

Fortnightly updates on key dossiers

A new fortnightly Bulletin is now available online, featuring information on key European issues of importance to Scotland.

Produced by the Scottish Parliament's officer in Brussels, The Brussels Bulletin is intended primarily to support the work of the parliamentary committees at European level. It provides intelligence on the key EU dossiers which will impact on devolved areas as they progress through the EU institutions.

The tracked dossiers were agreed by the European and External Relations Committee during the last parliamentary session following consultation with stakeholders and parliamentary subject committees on the European Commission's 2007 legislative and work programme.

The current committee has agreed to repeat this consultation on the European Commission's 2008 legislative and work programme.

Further information is available on the Scottish Parliament's website http://www.scottish.parliament.uk/s3/committees/europe/BrusselsBulletin.htm .
