Brodies' finance director poached as chief operating officer
Lindsays has appointed Ian Beattie to the role of chief operating officer as a key part of its strategy to fuel further growth.
Mr Beattie, a chartered accountant, is currently finance director at Brodies. His previous roles include finance director of the Royal Bank Private Equity group and head of finance at Murray Johnstone. He is currently on the board of SportScotland and is an experienced distance runner, having completed more than 50 marathons and ultra marathons.
David Reith, chairman of the management board at Lindsays, said: “Ian is an outstanding business leader. His appointment is indicative of the ever-increasing professionalism of dynamic law firms such as Lindsays.”
