Anne Skelly joins firm as HR director as three new associates named


Anne Skelly has been appointed as the new HR director for law firm Biggart Baillie.

Formerly head of personnel services at Tayside Contracts, has more 27 years’ experience working in the public sector, both in central and local government.

The firm has also announced the internal promotion of three assistants to associate:

Isobell Griffiths (Glasgow office), whose main practice is in contentious construction, in the infrastructure, environment and transport department;

Jennifer Laurie (Glasgow office), who does a broad range of commercial property work with a focus on large scale, cross border UK property portfolio acquisitions and disposals;

Aileen Shearer (Edinburgh office), whose areas of practice include investment purchases and sales, and leasing work for both landlords and tenants.

All three lawyers trained with the firm and qualified in 2003.
