Burness's new advisory group aimed at giving firm a deeper understanding of client needs

The law firm Burness is to launch a client advisory group – claimed to be a first for a law firm in Scotland.

The aim of the group, whose membership includes businessmen and women from seven key clients including Standard Life, Shell International and Baxters, is to give Burness a better understanding of its clients' needs and their requirements for the future.

The first meeting will take place on Friday 18 January and will be hosted by the firm’s chairman Philip Rodney, managing partner Ian Wattie, and director of business development Grace Hughes.

Philip Rodney said: “We’re excited that so many key clients have agreed to join our client advisory group, which will assist us in not only gaining a deeper understanding of our clients’ service requirements, but also anticipating their future needs."
