Tods Murray and Harper Macleod named in division of legal work
Tods Murray and Harper Macleod have been retained by the Forestry Commission in Scotland for legal work over the next three years.
The two firms each came out top in one of the "lots" put out to tender by the Commission. Tods Murray, which has acted as the Commission's sole Scottish legal adviser for the past 12 years, was successful in retaining the commercial/public law, employment and general litigation work. Harper Macleod won the property management lot, including acquisitions and disposals, leases and partnerships.
Peter Paterson will lead the Tods Murray team. Graeme Nisbet is lead partner for Harper Macleod; Liana Di Ciacca will deal with any property management enquiries from outside.
