Isobel d'Inverno joins from MacRoberts as director of corporate tax
Brodies has hired as director of corporate tax, Isobel d'Inverno, who held a similar position at MacRoberts.
Ms d’Inverno will join the firm in June of this year. She is currently also convener of the tax law committee of the Law Society of Scotland and a director of Reform Scotland, the new independent non-party think tank.
Alan Barr, who will work with her to lead and further develop Brodies' tax offering, said: "We are delighted that Isobel is returning to Brodies. She is undoubtedly a leader in the field of tax law in Scotland, respected by clients and peers alike."
Brodies staff numbers increased by 45% in 2007 and its turnover by 43%.
