Real estate partner for Anderson Strathern

Gillian Anderson is firm's 45th partner
Anderson Strathern has announced that Gillian Anderson is to be made a partner in its commercial real estate department.
Ms Anderson has been an associate in the commercial real estate department and is also a member of the firm’s banking group. She is a dual-qualified lawyer in Scotland and England & Wales, and is listed as a "Leader in their Field" in Chambers. She was previously an in-house solicitor for the Bank of Scotland.
This brings the total number of partners at Anderson Strathern to 45, including 10 in commercial real estate based in the Edinburgh and Glasgow offices.
Anderson Strathern’s chairman Robert Carr said: "Gillian has a client-focused approach and combines expert legal knowledge with commercialism and an ability to put everything in layman’s terms to suit the client."
