Steven Turnbull joins after 23 years as corporate partner at Linklaters
Shepherd and Wedderburn has a new partner in its London office.
Corporate lawyer Steven Turnbull joins the firm on 12 May from Linklaters, where he has been a partner for 23 years. His remit will include looking after knowledge management within the firm.
Chief executive Patrick Andrews said that Mr Turnbull had an outstanding reputation in the market.
The move is expected to increase opportunities for joint working between the two firms, which have worked closely together for may years and collaborated on the recent takeover of Scottish Power by Spanish company Iberdrola.
