Thorntons expands in Perth

New George Street offices to allow further growth for Tayside firm

Tayside solicitors Thorntons have moved to new offices in Perth in order to expand their 30-strong team there.

The firm has relocated to bigger offices in George Street from its former Charlotte Street/George Street base. The team in Perth has recently been strengthened with the arrival of agricultural law specialist partner Mike Blair and associate Chris Lindley from the firm’s Forfar office, and Perth lawyer Richard Blake as a consultant.

The official opening of the new office was marked with a reception for clients.

Partner Andrew Hunt said: "Thorntons have been in Perth since 1991, where we started in George Street with one lawyer and a property manager. We are immensely proud of what the firm has achieved and were delighted to celebrate that success with our friends and colleagues."
