Insolvency specialist moves from Burness
Glasgow solicitors Levy & McRae have announced a significant hire with the appointment of Andrew Sleigh, who joins the firm from Burness.
Mr Sleigh, aged 50, is an accredited specialist in insolvency law and is acknowledged for his expertise in the fields of corporate mergers and acquisitions, sport, insolvency and corporate recovery.
Levy & McRae’s senior partner, Peter Watson, who as it happens is a fellow member of Pollok Golf Club, said: “This appointment will send a real signal to the marketplace that despite Levy & McRae’s modest staff numbers we punch way above our weight especially in the field of international litigation, and will soon replicate that ability in the corporate marketplace.”
