Commercial Court Conference 2018

A Commercial Court Conference is to be held in the Laigh Hall, Parliament House
Edinburgh on Monday 30 April 2018 between 9 a.m and 1 p.m. (with registration and
refreshments available from 8.30 a.m.).

The focus of the conference will be electronic documents. The programme will
include panel discussions on
(i) disclosure and recovery of electronic documents;
(ii) use and presentation of electronic evidence in court;
(iii) how the commercial court might to respond to the opportunities and challenges presented by electronic data.
Speakers will include all of the commercial judges, the Hon. Mr Justice Robin
Knowles CBE (a judge of the commercial court in England and Wales and a member
of the Lady Justice Gloster Working Party on Disclosure), John MacKenzie
(Shepherd+Wedderburn), Colin Hutton and Chris Baldwin (CMS Cameron McKenna
Nabarro Olswang), Lorna Bennie (Clydesdale Bank), Gerry Moynihan QC, and
Almira Delibegovic-Broome QC.

The event is intended to provide 3.75 verifiable hours CPD. It is funded by the
Scottish Courts. There is no conference fee.
