Book online, and save

Introducing the Society's online payment service which launches in the summer

Booking places at Society events and conferences is set to become easier when a new online payment service is launched later this summer.

The new system will mean that solicitors who choose to book and pay online will have CPD points accredited to them automatically. All that will be required is a surname and roll number to ensure that the correct CPD points are applied.

Multiple bookings using a “shopping basket” feature will help to plan staff training and Update season tickets, and a number of other special offers and packages will also be available. In-house lawyers can also book for their events through the ILG section and will also be accredited with CPD points.

Jenny Paterson, head of Update, said: “The IT team has been working hard to bring our booking system up to date, and rather than having to deal with invoices, the new system will make things much easier for those who want to plan ahead and book places at our seminars and conferences throughout the year.”

For more information contact Update on 0131 226 7411, or check the website www.lawscot. org.uk/update . A 10% discount will be available to those who choose to book & pay online.
