London corporate partner for D&W

Dundas & Wilson has announced the appointment of John Verrill as a partner in its corporate recovery practice, based in its London office.

Mr Verrill joins on 2 January from Lawrence Graham, where he has worked for the past 20 years. and will be based in D&W's London office. He has wide ranging experience with a particular focus on restructurings and corporate insolvencies.

The firm has a strong corporate recovery practice in Scotland, led by Ian Cuthbertson. Managing partner Donald Shaw said: "We are delighted to have attracted someone of John's calibre and reputation to our London practice. Our corporate recovery practice has an outstanding reputation which we want to replicate on a UK wide basis. John will work closely with Ian Cuthbertson to grow the team and the practice in London."

Mr Verrill added: "I've been very happy over the past 20 years at Lawrence Graham, but this really is a fantastic challenge and opportunity for me. D&W's corporate team has a reputation second to none and their growth aspirations on a UK wide basis are very exciting."
