Patrick Brandt to join Dundas & Wilson
Dundas & Wilson has appointed Patrick Brandt to head up its financial services practice in London.
Mr Brandt is a contentious and non-contentious financial services regulatory lawyer with wide ranging experience including more than six years working in the Financial Services Authority (and its predecessor regulators) before going into private practice.
He previously worked with D&W in Scotland as a senior associate before moving to London in 2004 to join Baker McKenzie. He will join D&W on 8 January.
His role with D&W is to help grow the firm's financial services regulatory practice and related business from London and his appointment brings the number of partners in D&W's London office to 23, and in the firm to 75.
D&W managing partner Donald Shaw said: 'We know Patrick from his previous days at D&W and therefore are delighted to welcome him back to the firm."
