Six step up at Semple Fraser

Semple Fraser has promoted six of its senior assistants to associate level.

Jennifer Antonelli, who has been with the firm since her traineeship, is a specialist in insolvency and corporate recovery.

Iain Barton is an employment lawyer who undertakes work of both a non-contentious and contentious nature, including contracts and service agreements, TUPE issues and tribunal hearings.

Kirsteen Milne joined the firm as an assistant in the construction group and now advises developers and consultants on all aspects of construction work, contentious and non-contentious.

Morven Badger joined the firm as a trainee in the commercial property group. She acts for a number of large retail clients and is heavily involved in advising on shopping centre management – an area Semple Fraser specialises in.

Claire Slinger, one of a number of English qualified lawyers at the firm, advises a number of commercial property clients as well as acting on cross border and English funding transactions.

Keith Simpson, also in the commercial property group, is an expert property lawyer.

Managing partner Alister Fraser said: “Not only do these new associates have the technical skills and legal ability to make them good lawyers, but they have the business acumen to provide leading edge commercial advice to our clients.”
