Brand new office for Morton Fraser

Law firm Morton Fraser is to relocate to Edinburgh’s new business district at Quartermile next year.

The firm is to take on four floors in the new office building being constructed on site, moving from on its existing base in Queen Street. The development is scheduled for completion in October 2009 and will include retail and restaurant accommodation.

Linda Urquhart, chief executive of Morton Fraser, said: "Over the past four years, we have grown significantly in Edinburgh, and opened new offices in Glasgow and London only to see them increase in size well in advance of our expectations, so this move for our Edinburgh team to new purpose-built premises at Quartermile marks another significant milestone for Morton Fraser. We also expect to be making an announcement about expanding our Glasgow office in the very near future."

Ms Urquhart added that the firm would be making an announcement about expanding its Glasgow office in the near future.
