Environment and planning partner for Pinsent Masons

The law firm, Pinsent Masons, has hired Gordon McCreath to head up its planning and environment team in Glasgow as a partner.

Mr McCreath joins from Dundas & Wilson where he was a senior associate. He specialises in waste, water, utility and brownfield development, and has considerable experience of environmental impact assessment and inquiry work, including the recent Trump international golf course scheme.

He will be responsible for leading the expanding team across both Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Richard Ford, head of planning at Pinsent Masons, said: "Gordon is an immensely exciting and well respected lawyer. He is highly rated by the legal directories and his clients in terms of expertise and service delivery. I've no doubt he will be a real asset to our Scottish and national planning and environmental practice."
