HBJ Gateley Wareing strengthens Scottish team

Real estate expert Mike Fitzgerald has joined law firm HBJ Gateley Wareing from Dundas and Wilson. Based in Edinburgh, he brings the firm’s real estate partner tally to 23.

Mr Fitzgerald has extensive experience in commercial property, particularly in development, investment and cross-border transactions. While at Dundas and Wilson, he was involved in a number of high-profile projects including leading the property aspects of the Edinburgh Tram project, redevelopment of SECC and the acquisition, forward funding and development of the former STV studios at Cowcaddens, Glasgow.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Fitzgerald said: “This is an exciting opportunity. The firm’s experience is second to none and combined with commercial astuteness and good staff camaraderie, makes it a great firm to join.
